Red Cross Blood Drive

Shh...you hear that? It sounds like science! Jr. Scientists will learn how sounds are heard. Using ordinary objects, we will create a symphony of sounds from bagpipes to shrieks. It’s a roaring good time. All ages.

What time is it? BeTween time! A monthly, after-school meetup for ages 8-12, with a different activity planned each month.

Music lovers will get a chance to make their own speakers -- out of paper! We will discuss the science behind why it works, as we put them together. 

Ages 12-18. Registration is required. 

Build your own tissue box guitar! Children will also learn the science behind why guitars make sound.
